I’m queer and neurodivergent, and I’m passionate about amplifying queer voices and books with diverse characters. Developmental Editing looks at the big picture of your manuscript—plot, characters, themes—and helps to make sure your story is told in the most effective way possible. I’ll give actionable feedback on things like: character development, plot holes, story structure, word-building, pacing, tone, character voice, romance arcs, action scenes, spicy scenes, and more!
Line Editing focuses on the overall quality of your writing at the sentence level, to refine your prose and ensure that it’s clear, engaging, and impactful. I’ll improve word choice, sentence structure, tone, and flow, and address issues like awkward phrasing and repetition. This type of editing helps your work read clearly and makes every sentence shine.
Copy Editing ensures your manuscript is clear, accurate, and polished. I’ll address grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and consistency. This service includes a style sheet that reflects your personal style and book-specific details. The edit will focus on ensuring accuracy throughout your book, so your reader has a smooth experience.

I offer free sample edits of up to 1,000 words for line editing and copy editing, and up to 3,000 words for developmental editing.
